I produced and designed a book called "Lamb to the Slaughter" a short story written by Roald Dahl. As I was familiar with the story, I felt I could accurately display my interpretation of the dark meaning through the design on the dust-jacket and cover. Inspired by the dark and twisted tale, the dust jacket design reflected the "swirls" of the whisky drink quoted in the book. The idea was to allow the design to reflect the spiral of emotions the main protagonist feels throughout the story; the same theme is found with the layout of each page and typographic elements.
