I designed elements for Cruise & Maritime Voyages social media platforms, focusing on updating the style and tone to be more modern and vibrant. One key consideration was incorporating fast paced edits and bright vibrant graphics, embracing a new generation of bloggers & influencers.
For Instagram I designed multiple animations for a campaign to promote the launch of the Grand Round the World Cruise 2021. I used a variation of text, images and face paced transitions to express the sense of excitement and urgency. It was a very different take on previous story posts, and the new theme increased click-through rates directing customers to the website from the usual instagram story links.
I created travel inspired carousel adverts that would target a young-adult audience with the theme of journey, discovery and memories. Images receive positive engagement on CMV's social platforms, so I felt that the image of the port of call should be the main focus point. The polaroid frame worked as a way to emphasise potential images the consumer could capture when on this cruise. A neutral image based on generic location of the ports was used as the background that would span across all art-boards connecting the carousel adverts such as beaches for Caribbean sector or a city scrape for main land sectors.
